Scam calls affect many people
Fraudsters rarely target only one victim. They call many numbers every day and repeat the same script again and again. Reporting a scam number helps to warn others and makes it harder for the campaign to continue.

Who called websites and similar services work because people share their experiences. When you add a comment to a suspicious number, other users can see your warning before they decide how to react.
What to include in your report
- Explain briefly what the caller said and what the goal of the call was.
- Mention whether they asked for money, access to your computer or personal data.
- Describe the style of communication, for example strong pressure, threats or fake friendliness.
When to contact your provider or the police
If money has already been lost or there was a very serious attempt at fraud, it is a good idea to contact your bank, phone provider or the police. Your description and call history can help them understand the situation.
