Why you should be careful
Phone scams are becoming more and more common. Callers often pretend to be from a bank, authority or technical support. Their goal is usually to get access to your money or personal data.
Typical signs of a scam call
- The caller puts pressure on you and wants you to decide immediately.
- They try to scare you with a story about blocked accounts, debts or security incidents.
- They ask for SMS codes, passwords or card details.
- They promise quick profit or a very safe investment with high returns.
How to react
- Never share your passwords, SMS codes or card numbers over the phone.
- End the call and contact your bank or provider using an official number.
- If you are not sure, search the phone number on a service like who called and read experiences from other users.
If something feels wrong, it is completely fine to end the call. Your safety is more important than being polite.
